Denise Elliott, DPM

Denise Elliott, DPM, is a board-certified podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon at Foot and Ankle Center, LLC, providing complete podiatry care to people in Marrero, Louisiana, and throughout Jefferson Parish.

Dr. Elliott was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and grew up in the Lakeview neighborhood of New Orleans where she attended Dominican High School. 

Dr. Elliott began her professional pursuits at Loyola University New Orleans in Louisiana, earning her undergraduate degree. Then, she obtained her podiatry degree from the Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Beach, Florida.

Before entering private practice, Dr. Elliott completed a podiatric surgical residency at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center in Aventura, Florida. There, she received extensive training in various operative procedures, including flat foot reconstruction, ankle arthroscopy, and the correction of common foot abnormalities.

Dr. Elliott is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and proudly serves as president of the Louisiana Podiatric Medical Association.

Outside the office, Dr. Elliott is active in the podiatry profession. She serves as an advisory committee podiatry representative for Louisiana Medicare and is on the podiatry advisory panel to the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.
